Founders' Story — Richmond, Virginia
Built From Purpose, Not Just Profit
Clarke's Corporation was born from a deeply personal conviction: that the communities which have historically been underserved deserve not just charity, but infrastructure. Not just opportunity, but ownership. Not just access, but excellence.
The founders' journey — a husband and wife team based in Richmond, Virginia — from the hospitality industry to community organizing, from faith leadership to entrepreneurship — shaped a vision of what a truly integrated ecosystem could look like. One where a young person could be educated at Craft Keepers, employed at Taji Hospitality, supported by the NY Belles Foundation, and celebrated at Yuniku Events.
That vision is Clarke's Corporation. And it is still being built — one brand, one program, one community member at a time.

A Decade of Building
Academic Foundation
The founder builds an exceptional academic foundation — earning a PhD and a Business degree — while developing deep expertise as an educator. The belief that knowledge is the foundation of all empowerment takes root.
Culinary Excellence
A celebrated career as a Celebrity Chef and restaurant owner establishes the standard for what hospitality can be when rooted in cultural authenticity and culinary mastery. Taji Hospitality is born from this experience.
Craft Keepers Inc Founded
Recognizing the gap between education and opportunity, Craft Keepers Inc launches in 2018 as a certified school vendor — bringing culture-driven programs directly into classrooms across New York and New Jersey.
The Ecosystem Expands
The NY Belles Foundation, Black Biz Coalition, Press & Push Ministries, and Atsumeru Community Hub are established — creating a fully integrated ecosystem that serves the whole community from every angle.
Passion Fruit Prime & Yuniku
Passion Fruit Prime opens as a luxury Caribbean & Liberian steakhouse, and Yuniku Events & Spaces launches three stunning venues — completing the ecosystem and bringing the full vision to life.
Craft Keepers Inc & Beyond
The Craft Keepers Inc is in development for 2027, expanding from school vendor programs to a full educational institution. Virginia expansion launches in 2026. The ecosystem continues to grow.
